AHG’s National Day of Service
Held annually on the 3rd Saturday in September
Media outlets can click here to view NDS projects submitted by AHG Troops

Started in 2012, the 3rd Saturday in September each year is AHG’s National Day of Service! This day is a time for Troops across the country to join together in living out the AHG Oath in their communities.

Troops are encouraged to plan an event each year for National Day of Service which allows them to serve their communities, Charters, churches and charities! As Troop leadership create their programming calendars for each program year, they are encouraged to pray with their AHG Troop Board, Charter Representative and the girls to decide who their Troop can serve and how to make an impact. Download an informational flyer here.

More information is available below to equip you to express your FAITH, give SERVICE and have lots of FUN! Join AHG in September each year as Troops across the country demonstrate God’s love in a hands on way.

Free to B. A Blessing Patch Program & "Go Light Your World" Event Guide

In conjunction with AHG’s Birthday and National Day of Service, AHG is proud to offer the “Free to B. a Blessing” Patch Program. AHG has partnered with Frieda B. to help teach girls how to discover the one-of-a-kind important story that God has created for them, and use it to be a blessing to others. The program is based on the adorable book, Frieda B. Herself, about Frieda B., a girl with a BIG imagination.

The "Go Light Your World" Event Guide was especially created as a great way to celebrate AHG's Birthday and National Day of Service. A fun event for the entire Troop as cupcakes help each girl learn their own story before taking them out to serve those in the community.
